Motor Suggestion for Art Project

Hey Everybody,

I am assisting an artist with some electronics for a an art piece that will be in a gallery.

It’s a table basically, and on it - he wants 7 flowers to spin. The flowers are very light.
An arduino will be my main controller. When someone stands in front of the table, this
piece will spin the flowers, turn some led’s on, play a song, and a few other things.

Can anyone suggest some motors that might reliably do the trick for me?

I was thinking of hot gluing the flowers to the motor shafts, but I’d be interested in other ideas
if anyone had one.

The motor’s can be brushless, servos, stepper, etc.

Can anyone point me in a direction towards some motors that could possibly work?

You can probably get away with an inexpensive gear motor per flower:

Alternatively, an inexpensive continuous rotation servo motor might be a lot easier to control:

The ROMEO can handle all:

Hot glue is probably the fastest solution.

Thank you !!

I will order some of this stuff and find out what works the best.
