I’ve purchased an Hercules robot earlier this week: SKU: RB-See-294
I need to find where/how I can purchase a replacement motor for this robot.
Unfortunately, one of the motors is not working correctly. There’s literally no torque from that one particular motor.
Either way, I don’t mind buying a replacement motor, but I can’t seem to find a matching motor to actually purchase… The one I need a replacement with is one without encoders. Help for that would be greatly appreciated as a 3 wheel robot is not terribly useful and I don’t want to have my 200$ purchase go to waste…

We suggest that you open a ticket HERE as if you just received the Rover it might just be a defective motor or motor controller.
One thing you could do as a test first is to switch the motor to another output of the motor controller, if the motor run good, the motor controller might be the problem.

I managed to get a replacement motor directly from the manufacturer (Seeed) so I’ll be fine, thank you.
I had tried to change the inputs on the controller, but it was the same motor that had an issue. Just by turning the wheel by hand you could feel that there’s no resistance at all unlike the other ones.
This platform feels solid and intelligently designed; beside that one problem I’m very optimistic with my purchase so with the upcomming replacement motor I’m confident that I’ll be able to accomplish my project.
