Hi,
I was going through one of your products :
robotshop.com/en/pololu-12v- … coder.html
I got confused with the motor specification saying this:
Stall torque @ 12V: 220 oz·in (16 kg-cm)
Is the stall torque after gear down? Or do I need to multiply 100 to get the actual torque?
My project requires a dc motor with encoder which can produce a torque of 33 Kg-cm. Can I go ahead with the motor listed above?
The torque would be after the gear down. Normally a DC motor without gear down cannot provide much torque at all, and ~10,000 RPM.
If you specify the output rpm you need (we’ll assume 12V input?), we may be able to provide some ideas.

Let’s say output speed of arounf 50 rpm and torque 33kg-cm.
And yes 12 v input.
Unfortunately none of our gear motors which have a rear encoder (or have it as an option) can provide ~33Kg-cm

The most is 17Kg-cm:
