Motor driver kicks out

Hello. I have a combat robot that is currently using Cytron Single 10- 45V, 40A Brushed DC Motor Controllers. This is driving wheelchair motors with a 36V battery. It seems like when the load is to much then the driver “kicks out” From that point I can unplug the power and replug it in, and it will work ok. Is there a setting that will allow me to get more out of the driver? I cannot currently restart it in the middle of a fight, so I either have to figure out how to make these work more reliably, or find another driver.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

I wouldn’t suggest to do that. If the motor controller kicks out, then the motor controller you are using is simply not adapted to your project.

I would suggest to check the motors that you are using and within the range of the motor controller.
