What is the range for the ping ultrasonic sensor? If it is under 10 meters, I need one more powerful. My robot will be about the size of one of those “smart cars” you see nowadays. So, I need more range out of the sensors. It will hopefully go 40 mph. Anybody have any ideas?
I have a couple of PING sensors, and their range is about 3, maybe 3.5 meters. I would not want something like that on a robot going 40 mph.
