Hello,

I want to build a large scale RC car. I need a powerful servo. I have searched quite extensively and have only found a couple of people who have hacked a common servo for the signal in combination with an external h bridge and the servos pot for position feedback to drive a wiper motor which could draw up to 10 amps.

Is there an off the shelf board I can use to accomplish this?

How large of a scale and what are the requirements? How much torque and how low of a transit time do you need? Also, what resolution (degrees per step) are you looking for?

When you say large scale RC car, how large are you talking about? Are you talking about controlling a real car (like the ones you drive to work with)?

.16-.2 sec/60 deg and 32-40 kg/cm should be enough.

The buggy will probably be 3 1/2 ft long and weigh about 50 pounds.
