Mixing servos - a mandibular issue

I’ve built a pair of mandibles for my polypod but I am concerned about the front leg servos being able to support the extra weight. I’ve already upgraded all of the polypod’s leg servos from 422s to 475s.

Is there a problem if I just upgrade the knee servos to 645s or would it be best to upgrade all four servos (knees and hips)? If the other four polypod sections still have 475s, am I going to have problems if just one section has 645s?

The pan movement of the entire mouth unit is controlled by a 645 that also serves as my PING pan servo. The left and right mandibles each are controlled by a single 475 servo. I have thought about reducing weight by switching to 81 micro servos for the mandibles.

As long as you are using the SSC-32 using the Group moves, then the servos will automatically be synchronized even if one model servo is “faster” than another.
