Doing a preliminary layout on a design and it looks like a good choice will be the L16 series actuator.
However … The drawing is missing a key dimension. From the centerline of the aft (fixed) mounting hole to the bottom of the housing is not dimensioned on the drawing.
I see it on other models (L12, P16) but not on this one. Can someone supply the info and/or an updated drawing? I need it to make an accurate part model.
That does me no good. I have no way to open an iges or stp file other than with a viewer. Those are 3-D files. My CAD system can’t handle them. I need to end up with a 2-D shape and I have been unable to find an igs or stp to dxf (or similar) 2-D file format. Anyone with an L16 on hand that can simply measure one? Can you read in an igs/stp and export it to dxf/dwg and post it here?
Hi joemickley,
We took the 3D file provided by the manufacturer for the L16-50mm version and exported it’s side only in *.dxf.
Hope this help,

Perfect. Thank you much, solved the missing dimension problem and gave me a scaled side view in one shot.
FYI, the missing dimension is 8.50 mm.
