Misleading pictures in Arm Base Assembly Guide v2 for AL5D

Hi,

first of all: it is great fun to build the robot arm, my son (9yrs) and I are having this “robot experience” for the first time and we are enthusiastic! Thanks a lot for your great work!

Just a quick feedback on an issue in the Arm Base Assembly Guide v2.

All the pictures in that guide show a small bracket to be mounted on top of the base. However, the HS-805BB servo doesn’t fit into that bracket… unfortunately we didn’t check all tutorials in advance and recognized this only during step 3 in the Arm Assembly Guide for AL5D v2.

Maybe there should be a special Base Assembly Guide for AL5D v2, or just a remark in the generic one to be warned early enough. :wink:

You are right. We just recently updated the AL5D kit to use the HS-805 servo in the shoulder position. We will fix this. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. :smiley:
