Mint 4200 - scooting in a small vicinity and not conntecting to Navigation Cube

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and have a Mint 4200. I’ve had my Mint for about 3 months and I absolutely love it. However, it stopped working properly a few days ago. It scoots around in a very small area and doesn’t really clean. I thought something was wrong with one of the wheels so I turned it over and, even though neither wheel looks very dirty, cleaned them with a dry cloth. I then noticed that the navigation cube is constantly blinking blue. For some reason it doesn’t seem to want to fully connect to my Mint anymore. The navigation cube is set up higher on a countertop, where I’ve always used it. I wiped down both the navigation cube and the mint with a dry cloth but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I’ve tried googling for more information but couldn’t find what I’m looking for. I received this as a gift, without a gift receipt, so I’m not sure if it’s under warranty. Hopefully someone can offer some advice.

Thanks!
Tracy

If you let the Mint clean for several minutes, does it stop with a series of beeps? Have you verified that the cleaning cloth and support are installed properly? Sometimes, if it is lifted up slightly, this can cause issues for the Mint. Try removing the cloth to see if this fixes the issue.

For the cube, please try the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:

-Ensure Cube has fresh batteries
-Place cube on a raised surface with the Cube light pointing toward the center of the room. Please note, plasma/LCD TVs, moving ceiling fans and fluorescent lights can interfere with Cube’s functionality. In addition, ceilings higher than 3 meters/ 10 feet or slanted ceilings may impair Cube functionality. If you have a slanted ceiling, try pointing the Cube at the lower part of the slant.
-Ensure that the Cube cannot be moved by people or pets during the cleaning cycle.
-Mint should be placed approximately 1.5 meters/ 5 feet away from the Cube’s blue light, facing the Cube.
-Try to run the Mint again.
