Hello community,
I’m working on a project that requires me to enter the frightening field of optics. I’m interested in the ArduCam Multi Camera kit, however I need a bit of an input or suggestions.
Its critical for my project that the lenses can focus on objects at close distance. I will never require to look at something further away than 20cm, but a focus at at the very least 6cm should be possible. I am not looking for microscope lenses either.
Can someone help me find out the Minimum Object Distance of the modified Raspberry Pi V2-Cams included in the kit? It does not have to be technical or scientific, its enough if you can check quickly whether the camera can easily read small letters at a distance of let’s say 3-6 cm.
Futhermore, since I doubt the cam is specialized for close distances, are there lenses that could pull the focus of the camera closer?
Appreciate the input!
