Minimum excitation power supply to the load cell RB-See-435

Hi,

The specification of the load cell RB-See-435 says excitation poser supply shall be minimum 10 V. I will be using Arduino R3 Uno and Wheatstone bridge shield RB-Onl-38 to interface it to the load cell RB-See-435. But I see Arduino can take 5V dc supply from the PC USB port. How do we supply 10VDC to the load cell? regards

Hi,

The Strain connector power pins on the Load Cell Shield are connected to the 3.3V power line of the Arduino.
This means that if you stack the Shield on an Arduino Board, your load cell connected to the shield will be excited with a 3.3V.
You can bend the 3.3V and a GND pin of the Shield and connect it to a 10V power supply so that the load cells attached to the shield will be excited with a 10V.

Hi Brahim,

Thanks for the reply it was helpful.
