My mini sumo is now working. It avoids the edge but does not have any object sensors.

I have a stall sense circuit so when it detects higher current draw it applies full power to the motors. It normally drives around at half speed so it can properly see the edge.

In the ECRG in may “panther” placed 2nd in mini sumo.

I have finished redesigning the chassis for a lower profile. I have also designed a PCB to be made. It will have object sensors.

A 10 CD changer. He he.

Just motors right now. 7 oz/in stall. 576 RPM free running. Check these out. Oh, sorry, no direct link they are GM19.

The board should be arriving Thurs. or Fri. this week (I can’t wait!!! :smiley:). It wil use an SX chip.

I’ll take pics when the board comes. If anyone wants to see the PCB artwork I will post it. Six boards are being made so I may have extras if anyone wants. Somewhere around $20 each.

I will also be casting new tires out of dragon skin. I have new brass rims turned!! Pics if anyone wants.

I have finished populating the board.

I just bought Dragon Skin silicone rubber to cast the new brass wheels with. The silicone is indestructable!! It is shock resistant, fire resistant, will strech to 1000% :open_mouth:, and is extreamly tractiony. It has a hardness of shore 10A.

I will post pics when the other wheel finishes curing. I’ll post a couple pics of the mold too. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
