Mini ABB in new autonomous rovers

Friends:
I have a few Mini ABB boards, all with Basic Atom Pro micros (all red chips). Are they all compatible with the sample .BAS programs that are on the rover assembly guides? <-in lynxmotion.com/images/html/build135.htm

All I’m asking is if I use Mini ABB instead of Bot Board II, what are the changes necessary in wiring and software?

Thanks amigos,

Migs

The code was written for the Atom Pro 28. You have the Atom Pro 24. This will require some program editing. Also the Mini ABB has the LED’s and buttons on different pins. None of this is really challenging to change around. Good luck with it.

Hi Jim:

The MiniABB has a 28 pin (red colored) chip, could it really be an Atom Pro 28?

Migs

Sorry I was thinking of the wrong board. You probably do have the Atom
Pro 28.

Jim:

Check this picture out and tell me which Atom it is? It has 28 pins:

Thanks,

That’s the Atom Pro 28 pin.

and please, there’s no need to post the same question so many times. :unamused: This is a relatively small forum, and most people are able to read every post. There’s no reason to start a new thread every time you ask a question in a current thread.

Thanks Jim, and sorry about the posting. -Migs
