Hello,
I am new in the field of robotics.
Here are my purchases:
- 32 U SSC card
- BOTBOARDUINO V1.0
here are my questions:
- is it possible to put a MIDI controller note on / off in the play of SSC32 SERVO sequencer?
- Can you put a controller to control a servo live through the FloWbotic Studio software ?? I find no example MIDI IN control to control a servo or live timeline of the sequencer
- I Can control the SSC32U card with the servo software sequencer but not BOTBOARDUINO card. BOTBOARDUINO how flash the card to work with FLOWBOTICS?
- Is it possible that a servo is faster than the other as they are all connected on the same timeline of the sequencer?
Schedule: picture of what I can not program
Hi,
Here are answers to your questions & comments:
We are not sure we understand your question properly. From what we understand, you wish to use a MIDI input to impact the sequence currently playing in the sequencer?
The sequencer does not offer any MIDI related capabilities by default. FlowBotics Studio does offer MIDI modules, such as the MIDI In.
The SSC-32 Servo Sequencer is meant to work with the SSC-32 and SSC-32U program, as stated in the apps’ name. To have the BotBoarduino be compatible with the sequencer app, it would need to be program to respond to the commands from the app. You can read more about the protocol of the SSC-32U here (pages 24-26). You would need to create code that reproduces the behaviour of an SSC-32U in the BotBoarduino, which is not a trivial task. We do not currently offer any code to do this and cannot offer support for such a project.
All servomotors are not exactly equal. Even among motors of the same brand and model, they may have differences due to the manufacturing process and the tolerances involved. Of course, some motors are of higher quality than others and are more consistent in behavior.
Sincerely,
