Micro Sumo kit

Is anyone aware of a micro sumo kit or a really excellent how-to and parts list to make a micro sumo?

I’m looking for a kit to use next school year and I need something that comes in at a significantly lower cost than say a Sumovore (which looks really nice, but I teach at a high school in Haiti and the cost is prohibitive). Does anyone think it’s even possible to build a micro sumo for around $35 US?

We don’t have much in the way of machining capabilities though we do have drills and other hand tools.

Yes, we do have a kit that is quite popular with schools, the Beam Mini Sumo Wrestling EdgeBot Parts Kit. We also suggest the book on which this kit is based, Junkbots, Bugbots & Bots on Wheels.

All that would be required is material to build the sumo frame, which could be plastic or cardboard for example. Basically whatever you have on hand.
