MESA Imaging 3D ToF Camera SR4000 (Bundle)

Hi Sir,

I know that this tof camera can identify the distance and (X,Y,Z) coordinates of each pixel by colors. Can I access the number of distance and (X,Y,Z) coordinates of each pixel? what is its resolution?

Thanks,
Abbas

Hi,

For the resolution, if you mean the pixel array size, it is 176(h) X 144 (v). If you want, you can get the device data sheet here:
robotshop.com/media/files/pd … 400002.pdf

This is what we got from the user manual:
The raw 14-bit values of the spherical distances range from 0 to 16382 (0 to 0x3FFE in hex). Higher values indicate saturation. A single bit increment corresponds to 0.305 mm (rounded) if 214 for a 5 m camera and 0.61 mm (rounded) for a 10 m camera. These values can be obtained by dividing the full phase lengths by 214 . The real spherical distance in mm can in be obtained by multiplying the 14-bit phase measure with the factor of 0.305 mm or 0.61 mm respectively. From this distance together with the intrinsic parameters of the camera x, y, and z coordinates per pixel are computed. This is done inside the camera so that it delivers full 3D coordinate vectors for each of the 176 times 144 pixels.
yo can get the full manual here:
robotshop.com/media/files/pd … 400002.pdf

It seems like you should be able to get x,y,z of all pixels. We would recommend you to read the manual to have all the information required.

Best regards,

Dear Sir:
Now I use the mesa imaging TOF camera SR4000. But I don’t get the drivers from mesa imaging web.
Can you offer me the drivers?
My mail address is [email protected]
thanks!!!
