If you leave within a day, it’s very hard to find someone on short notice. Not sure of your age or skill level, but if you are just getting started, the following series should help:
If you’re planning to create halloween animatronics, do additional research into what’s already on the market to determine what’s used. There are tons of videos online about animatronics as well. You’ll likely be using servos for fine motion, and pneumatics (or DC linear actuators) for more sudden motions.
