Mega Motor Shield Compatibility with Kinco Servomotor

Hello all,

Will the Mega Motor Shield be able to work with a DC Servomotor (https://www.anaheimautomation.com/products/servo/servo-motor-item.php?sID=851&serID=308&pt=i&tID=350&cID=27)? The motor has 4 inputs U, V, W and PE. I only need speed control with the motor. The system will be used for a RC driving robot

Sorry for the late reply. I will be using this motor shield. I have since changed motors, will it work with this motor. It is a brushless DC motor

Thank you for your reply.

This motor will not work with this driver because the motor’s rated current is 14A while the Continuous output current for the driver is 13A only.

You would need a driver with a higher continuous output current such as these ones:

Would this one work as well?

I’m hoping to finding something in this price range. The first one you sent me seems like a great option but it is out of stock currently.
