Medical Robotics

Hello. I have one question. What should I study to become a medical roboticist?

Thank you very much!!

Hi Robofan,

If by “medical roboticist” you mean someone who builds robots for the medical field, you would get by far the most respect if you first became a doctor, then got a degree in robotics (10 years of your life). The easier approach is to just get the degree in robotics or a related field (mechanical, electrical or computer engineering with many courses taken in the other two fields). You might then work for a company (or even start your own) where you learn about specific areas of the body so you can create appropriate designs.

Hope this helps,
