Measuring rpm wireless?

Greeting everyone

onward to a new project where i could use your brilliant minds
i need to measure rpm on a brushed dc motor and transmit the data back to my controller or small separate device

range should be 200 feet if possible

set up is a 12 volt dc motor, controlled by a ESP controller is a standard futaba controller

I could also measure volt if that is a better solution

i hope that there is help out there

Put a photo-interrupter on the shaft, count the pulses using a dedicated US Digital chip or a PIC/ Basic Micro. Connect a blue-tooth to relay the data.
