MD30C

I connected a 16Vdc transformer @3amps to the board and one of your 2.5" CIM Motors (am0255).
When I push the on-board switch the motor pulse and does not run continuous. Twisting the int.pot. has no effect.
The motor ran fine on a direct connected 12vdc supply before connecting the beard.
What do I need to do to get the motor running continuously. I have the 5K pot for the external pot, Will this cause the motor to run continuously?
Thanks, Miles

Hi,

Please provide us with one or more pictures clearly showing all your components (the MD30C, motor, power supply, pot, etc.).

You can attach pictures to your reply by going into Full editor mode. See the attached image for details.

Sincerely,

The jumper moved to Ext Pot and the attachment of the 5K pot did the trick. Apparently the on board button gives a minimal voltage that is PWM and the motor responded with the pulsing. But the pot turned on and gave a higher voltage and the running smoothed out. The external pot is doing a great job, as is the board.

Hi,

We are glad to hear it is working. Please do not hesitate to post again if you have any other questions.
