Hi!
I would like to buy the mbot2 STEM kit.
-
I think that the kit uses a 18650 battery. Is the battery included in the kit?
-
Based on the information I found, it looks like the kit can be used for AI. Is there a camera on the mbot2 or do we need to buy a seperate camera module ?
-
Is the programming software free or should we need to buy a license ?
Thanks
Is the LED Matrix 8x16 ( RB-Wol-109) compatible with mbot2 ?
Hello @cameleon1 and welcome to the RobotShop forum,

No batteries are included in the kit. You can see what’s included here:
The CyberPi has one Micro USB port (Type-C) for connecting to PCs for power supply and communication.
The Micro USB cable is not included in the package. You can also use a power bank to supply power for CyberPi.
Note: When charging CyberPi, ensure that the voltage is lower than 6 V. The hardware of CyberPi may be damaged if the voltage is equal to or higher than 6 V.
There is also an extension moduled called the Pocket shield which includes a built-in rechargeable battery that can supply power for CyberPi and provides 2-pin and 3-pin interfaces that can be used to connect servos, LED strips, and motors, which significantly improves the extensibility of CyberPi.

There is an extension module that uses a Pixy camera with built-in learning but it is not included in the kit.

It is free, you can find more information about here:

No, that LED Matrix is not compatible. However, there is a mBuild Module 8×16 Blue LED Matrix which is.
