Maytech 1712 or 1905 remote battery indicator

The receiver board has three wires 5v,gnd pwm signal so where does it get the battery status info from!
There are 2 more solder points rev and 42v so I’m guessing the need to solder an addition wire to the battery pos!
Same thing for the reverse I guess.

Hello @peterg2000 and welcome to the RobotShop community,

Are you referring to this product MTSKR-1712?

This is a wireless remote for e-Skateboard, and although it does have a battery status indicator it refers to the battery level of the remote controller itself, not from an external battery.

The LED2 will start flashing when the battery is low, as it drops more voltage it will start flashing faster and when the voltage is very low it will remain solid indicating that it is time to recharge the controller.

Thanks for the quick response, but I’d also like to know about how the reverse works. On the pcb of the receiver there is a rev eyelet to solder a wire. So does the voltage on that lead toggle when you do reverse on the remote?
Thanks in advance .

Pete

According to the manufacturers manual the forward and reverse switching function can be realized when this remote works with Maytech dual ESC (MTDU30A). It is unworkable for other ESCs.
