Maxsonar ez1 vs srf05 vs parallax ping

Hi

I'm new to this forum and i would like to know a few things.

Which one of the following ultrasonic rangefinders do you prefer.

I know that the ez module is designed for indoor environments but i would like to use my robot outdoors

as well,do the ping and the srf05 would outdoors as well.

My robot is going to be a basic obstacle avoiding robot for otudoor and indoor use.

I know the ez is accurate to about 1 inch,what about the accuracies ofthe srf05 and ping but this is really not going to

affect my decision much,an inch is plenty accurate since i am going to stop the robot when it is about 40cm away.

I would just like to know since i couldnt find the accuracies of the other two.

Also there is a tutorial for the srf05, if i buy any of the other two, can i wire it the same way, i know the srf05 can be wired using 3 or 4 wires but the other two have only 3 wires.

SRF05 is quite good but i never got a reading when object is closer than 7 cm despite of 3cm to 3m range

The Maxbotix has 3 interfaces, serial, analog and digital (similar to SRF05). I love to work with them using the analog interface. It should work outdoor, until it will not rain.
