Hi everyone im very new to all this but is there a system/circuit that you can do mapping with. E.g like a robot lawn mower but instead of it going randon routes that it will take a certain route that has been programmed?? Any help would be great.

There are multiple ways to do this actually but none that are cheap and premade.
You could map a floor of your home using a Lidar setup hooked on a rover with encoders on it’s wheels to know precisely how much it moved.

Another, simpler way of doing that would be to make “roads” on the ground with black tape and make the robot follow it like so:
