Man following robot

I want to make a man following robot using the help of accelerometer and gyroscope in the mobile phone and IMU installed on the robot…can somebody please guide whether or not this is feasible if yes then how?

Hey sufiyan1994… any decisions on how you’re going to go about it?

It’s one of the things that I’ve been considering for my project as well. Haven’t decided on how I’ll go about it. I had originally thought that Bluetooth could be an option, but that doesn’t really have much directionality to it. The most obvious choice would be to go about it like the DJI drones do it… with “computer vision”, but haven’t really explored that at all just yet.
