Can anybody share some information on how I can make wheels turn.
By turning I'm not meaning spinning as in moving forward. I am refering to the technique used in cars to make the car turn left or right.
Currently I enable only the left motor and the robot will start turning left. However in one of my next robots I want to use a different way to make the robot turn which is turning the wheel.
From what I know from cars (not much) there is a shaft that is connected to both left and right wheel. This shaft moves left or right in order to put the wheel on an angle and both wheels are positioned in the same angle.
Where can I find more information on how to build this? I don't really have much experience with building these things so any beginners info would be great.
Also, if there is technique to move the wheels independent from each other that would be great as well. I want to use the Arduino so I can use the software to synch the wheels or do fancy stuff with it :)
If all this is to much for a beginner just burst my bubble :)
