Greetings all. I need some recommendations for how to make a vibration motor that’s about the size of tooth to receive a wireless signal to vibrate. It’s gonna be placed in some gelatinous substance as well.
I would appreciate recommendations for specific parts as well as any advice you might be able to offer.
Thanks in advance!!
Hi,
The best we currently have to offer off the shelf is this. Of course, they still need a power source and a controller of some kind (to toggle the current through the motor). And even then, they are probably not small enough for your application.
Could you please provide more details to help us give you better advice, such as:
- What is your end application. The more details you can provide the better. Even better if you can attach to your reply some pictures, schematics, diagrams, etc. See the attached image for details.
- How will you be providing power to the motor?
If you only need to switch the motor on/off (no duty cycle control), then you can prob. simply use a discrete transistor coupled with your power source and some kind of RF receiver, maybe even simply a IR receiver/transmitter pair for control.
Sincerely,
