MAKI Robot Back on Kickstarter

Good day,

My name is Tim and I have designed a robot named MAKI for which I have launched a Kickstarter project to fund. One cool feature about this project is that MAKI can be replicated using a desktop 3D printer and off-the-shelf hobby robotics. A prototype of the robot has already been built and tested, I am just raising funds to increase it’s functionality and hopefully if enough is raised, prototype and market other platforms. I have included a link below. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/comments or if you are interested in working with me on this or future projects.

Okay, I will check that out as well. Right now I am going through Shapeways and I find them somewhat expensive. Thanks

Very cute robot! You may also want to consider the RobotShop Accelerator Program

We also launched our new 3D printing service which seems to fit your project quite well.

If your project is accepted into the accelerator program, the 3D printed parts would not cost you anything

Hello Coleman,
Thanks for the suggestion. The RoboShop Accelerator Program seems like an awesome resource. I will be sure to contact the engineering team. Thanks again!
