I bought a couple of day ago a makey makey 1.2 from robotshop.com and I want to remap it. I did the instruction there : makeymakey.com/remap_classic/index.html (unplug the makeymakey, connect up-down arrows and left-right arrows, and plug the makeymakey in usb) but nothing happens, all the LEDs are flashing, and on the site I have a beautiful “Communication has timed out. Refresh the page to start over”. So I’m a little bit disappointed.
]The classic version, the one we offer./:m] ]The 1.2 version/:m]
The main difference is for remapping purposes : the classic version uses the Arduino IDE and a manual Arduino sketch upload. The 1.2 version uses a simple web based remapper to remap the controls.
The one you have should be the classic version. Therefore, you can follow this guide to remap yours.
