The BBC micro:bit V2.21 I bought from DF Robots won’t accept Makecode programmes for the Maqueen Mechanic Beetle created on my Windows 11 PC.
When attempting to download the sample code downloaded from the internet created using the editor at Microsoft MakeCode for micro:bit I get the message “The hex file is not available. Please connect to the internet and try again”.
In response to a previous search on this topic which suggested a firmware update I executed a firmware update to Interface Version 0257 (version was 0255 when supplied).
Any ideas on how to fix this problem and allow downloads?
