I have a Makeblock X-Y Plotter and I am having a problem arduino Orin Board pin A0 on Plug 8 is Hi all the time. Since this port are for the X-Left and X-right limit switches which as of now the are not working. I ran one of the test program that test the limit switches and found A0 is HI all time. The Plotter is working other that this problem. I got a tight Deadline and this fixed as soon as possible. (Nov. 15th)
Hi robomaster-1,
Have you tried to move the limit switches on another port and correct the code accordingly to test ?
Another test that would be good to conduct is to exchange the two “Me RJ 45 Adapter” to see if the problem change to the other two switches.
Let us know,
I am having a problem with the Limit Switches in the X-axis. The Z-Left and X-Right limit Switches are not working. I have a pin on Port that is looking like it is bad.
Is there any way I can buy another Orion Broad from you? I can switch it to another port, but I am finding it very hard to find in the code where that is set up.
Any though or Ideas on how to solve this? The Plotter is working fine than other the problem with the X-axis Limit Switches. I have a very tight deadline on getting this working any help would be very helpful.
I did switch to another port and is working fine with the limit test program, but I am having a bad time finding where in the main program to change the variables that set those pins.
I was able to fix the problem and switch to another port pin. It turn out that I did not have newest version of the software load and I was to find where in the code are those variables are set Thank You for all your help. I need to know if any one out there knows how run the plotter with a joystick that record and playback the movements. I am working on a project for a movie and need to be able tocontrol the XY Plotter this way.
To control the system with a Joystick you will have to develop your own code as it’s not intended to be used that way.
If you think the board is defective, you can open a ticket on our support center.
