Makeblock Me Color Sensor not being recognized by mBot

Just got the Makeblock Me Color Sensor v1 and hooked it up to our mBot. We are using the mBlock web version. The sensor is getting power and the program recognizes that the sensor is at the port but it will not respond to a light on command or detect color.

Any suggestions?

This was resolved - the mBot and similar models require the color sensor to be used only in “upload” mode - not “live” mode.
