Hi
I got a 500mW laser upgrade for makeblock plotter. The problem am facing is when am trying to engrave a photo, it gets burned to wood with the same intensity. For light grey in the photo it is supposed to burn the wood lightly and for black in the images it is supposed to burn the wood black. However, for me it is all coming black.
Not sure what is wrong.
Am using the same set up used in their examples.
Any help is deeply appreciated

This seems like a calibration issue. The laser engraver software has been updated as of February 26: learn.makeblock.cc/laserxy2/
If this does not resolve the issue, it is best to contact the manufacturer directly as they are in the best position to troubleshoot: [email protected]

I did the upgrade only last week. Am using the benbox 2.12.45 mentioned in above location you gave. Used the tools in there to flush and update tge rom. Is there any other option you are talking about
Unfortunately in this case the manufacturer would know how best to proceed.
