Make Your Own Arduino-Powered Deskbot Pal - Lesson 5: Programming for Interactive Response | RobotShop Community

Desktop Pal is an animatronic friend, powered by an Arduino-compatible microcontroller and a small assortment of basic sensors. Using two servos for movement, Pal’s head moves up and down and side to side, reacting to objects that come nearby. In this installment you’ll learn how to program the Desktop Pal so it integrates all of its components – motors, switches, and sensors – to work together as a single unit.

I am following your deskbot build and have arrived at lesson 5 but cannot download the lesson 5 sketches as the link cannot find the files. Can you send me the files or a link that functions please. All other files downloaded ok. I do note that the file name protocol changes from lesson to lesson, capital letters used sometimes etc. Maybe the file name needs twerking?
Aye, Kim many thanks for a very enjoyable learning program too.

@Kim Holland Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have found the issue and corrected the link.

Wow! That was quick, I just tried the download again from my Chromebook and it worked, so was about to apologise for miss information. Hey ho, now to see all the functions interact. Wonderful explanation of interrupts by the way, your example made the logic simple to understand, thank you. I just hope my great grandson likes the finished item. Kim
