Make a doll’s head rotate with RC control

Hi. I’m an IT pro wanting to get into robotics with my 9-yr old. I want to make a doll’s head rotate under RC control.

Guess I need a servo (or just plain motor) small enough to sit in chest cavity and point up + receiver electronics + battery ?!

Is there a basic kit I can buy?
