Hi there,
When powering up (Maduino Zero SIM808 IoT GPS Tracker V3. ) via 3.7 LiPO and plugging into USB, switch is in ON position, but nothing detected on USB device list on MACOS, what drivers may i need to use this with Arduino IDE please? Should an LED indicate the board is powered on?
Thanks.
Hello @moonoiuk and welcome to the forum,
Did you install the Software for the Arduino/Genuino Zero?
If you haven’t please follow this steps

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes i did. My issue is that the device is not showing up as a USB device to OS.
Oh, I see, maybe this can help:
Let us know how it goes!
Yes i tried that article as well, thank you. But no further forward. Lack of documentation on this device…
Is there a way to confirm it is powered up correctly without USB connection? LED? I dont see one. Maybe device is faulty?
now using power adapter rather than LIPO battery and LED’s are on and can see USB device under /dev/
tty.usbmodem14201
Can you recommend a battery that would work, even though this battery is showing as per my images attached charged and working?
current battery is marked as 2.0 2000mAh 1C 7.4Wh, LIPO 3.7v.
Thank you.
