I never thought it would be possible, but apparently you can run the Visual Sequencer from a Mac!
Thanks Doug! 8)

Hey Doug,
I’m in a very similar boat. I’m also trying to program only with Atom Pro IDE on my Macbook Pro via vmware and Windows XP. Did you install the mac driver in OSX or the windows driver via Windows in VM? I’ll try anything at this point! Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Hi Guys,
This is Laracroft,
I am new at this forum. Right now I am using Windows XP on my system.
I am planning to install Mac on VMWare server for testing and learning purpose.
Please any one tell that that is possible or not.
I am waiting for your post.
Most software for ssc-32 runs on windows only!
So ig you have a mac, you can run the software through a virtual machine. The other way around is useless.
Or buy a cheap netbook for all your robotic needs.
I started out on a netbook. Is not recommended!!
Screen is too small!!
I love my netbook. But it gave me a triple hernia, programming night after night…
If it works for you, it works for you!
It’s not intended to be used as the primary PC. Netboks are more of a portable companion and perfect for robotic development. You have your primary PC, the full desktop or the full laptop, and then you have the net book for on the go. I agree the screen size can be frustrating if it was your only PC.
This is really amazing matter.I have my netbook with MAC and I am happy with it. My MAC supports SEQ with VMWare which I recently got before few days. I have connected my laptop with my netbook which is of 17" inch screen and gives me the better performance for my robotic development.
