Hi:
When I try to install any of these three versions, I get a “missing DATA.CAB file” message.
I am using Windows 7.

I have spent an hour with my Windows 7 machine and another hour with my XP machine and cannot install
Lynxterm. Data.Cab is still missing on both machines.
I suspect it may be on a hidden file on both machines.
I am quite fed up with the “scavenger hunt” the search for Lynxterm has sent me on.
You sold me kits and they need lynxterm.
I could return them all.
I bought an SC32 CD, why didn’t you put Lynxterm on this CD?
I know you have new versions, but your could keep your CD updated.
Please send me a CD with LynxTerm on it.

Slow down we are trying to help you. It might take more than one try. The data.cab file is not on your PC. It’s to be extracted from the zip when you install LynxTerm.
It’s been a while so I will do it with you.
Download the ltrm110.zip file to your c:\program files folder.
Right click and select extract all.
Click Next.
Read
“Files will be extracted to this directory.”
“C:\Program Files\ltrm110”
Click Next.
Read
“Extraction Complete”
Click Finish. Your folder will open.
Double Click on the folder “LynxTerm Install”
Open “setup.exe” and it will install fine. In this folder you will also see the file “data.cab” the missing file.
I think you might have been trying to install from the zip file.
