Lynxmotion ssc-32u without computer

Hello all,
I am new to RobotShop and micro controllers. I just have a quick question about the Lynxmotion SSC-32u that was not specifically addressed in the specs for it. The question is, can you use this controller similarly to the Pololu Maestro usb controllers pertaining to being able to create your movements/show with it’s software (Lynxmotion Visual Sequence Software) and then upload that to the controller so that you can disconnect from the computer and have it run the movements by itself?

Hi,

No, not directly.

Doing this would required the SSC-32U to be connected to a microcontroller or other device (computer, Bee module, etc.) that can send the proper commands to the SSC-32U.
The sequences saved from the app (files) could be converted and then used with an Arduino or other microcontroller, such as this tiny one.
