Good Morning All!
I have a custom project in the works just now where I need to stabilise a single roll axis with a given package weighing around 2kg. Weight is a huge factor and it need to be able to handle high winds and speeds so a servo based system rather than brushless is my chosen direction.
I see that the Lynxmotion servos have continuous mode and was wondering if anyone has ever used this servo for any sort of continuous gimbal control? With it being a smart servo, I assume I don’t need an external potentiometer to achieve accurate positioning? Has anyone ever used an external controller for gimbal stabilisation with this servo?
