The Lynxmotion PRO project is not open source but the protocol is available if you want to implement your own control.
What do you mean by “our controllers” exactly ?

Thank you Dialfonzo, I’m currently developing a control system and typically aim to impliment advanced motion and force control techniques for the manipulator. This requires access to the motors. Additionally, is it possible to use the robot with tools like Simulink or MATLAB?

By “control system” you mean a software right ?
The protocol to control the motors is available on our Wiki HERE and is quite simple to understand.
Basically, the first actuator is connected via a USB Serial interface and the next actuators are daisy chained by CAN BUS. For the user, you just send your commands via the Serial protocol and the commands are sent to the corresponding Servo ID.
As for using the robot in MATLAB or Simulink, you just have to handle the serial protocol and it should be compatible.
