Lynxmotion Servo Erector Set V1.1 & FlowBotics Studio V2 Rel

The long-awaited Lynxmotion Servo Erector Set V1.1 is now available for immediate purchase!robotshop.com/blog/en/files/lynxmotion-ses-robots-300x200.jpg
SES stands for “Servo Erector Set”, a versatile set of servo brackets and mechanical parts used as modular building blocks for hobby servo motors. The Servo Erector Set mechanics are made up of durable black aluminum brackets and sturdy black Lexan. You can build an entire assembly using just these components, then populate it with servos and electronics to bring it to life. This makes it surprisingly quick and easy to design and build rugged, complex robots and systems. Unlike many other modular robotic building kits, the Lynxmotion SES brings you closer to making truly custom robotics as it allows you to integrate third party sensors and products.**

What is included?**

The SES V1.1 includes over 500 parts and online instructions allowing to build five very different types of robots: a simple 2WD rover, the popular AL5D robotic arm, a fun BRAT biped, an advanced quadruped and a versatile hexapod.**

Most prominent parts:**

]Rechargeable battery /:m]
]Wall charger /:m]
]Wireless PS2 Controller /:m]
]Botboarduino microcontroller /:m]
]SSC-32 servo motor controller /:m]
]Bluetooth USB dongle /:m]
]Bluetooth Bee /:m]
]44 durable aluminum brackets /:m]
]8 rugged Lexan panels /:m]
]12 Hitec servo motors /:m]

How do you program the robots?

We are proud to introduce FlowBotics Studio V2. This new version is a great step forward in robot-programming and allows roboticists, from novice to expert, to easily create robotic behaviours using a combination of graphical and text-based programming.robotshop.com/blog/en/files/flowbotics-studio-al5d-300x170.png
By linking modules and components together it is possible to create advanced robotic behaviours that interact directly with the robotic hardware. Events and data then flow between the links as the application executes the program on-the-fly without need of compilation. This make development and testing seamless and extremely fast and avoids lots of the usual headaches of developing robotic behaviours.robotshop.com/blog/en/files/arm-rover-brat-300x234.png
FlowBotics Studio V2 was created in conjunction with DSP Robotics and uses the powerful FlowStone graphic programming engine (a feature never before included in a hobbyist-centric software). Out-of-the-box, it supports the SSC-32 servo motor controller, a selection ofPhidget modules, and some standard sensors.Since this software is also included with the SES V1.1, it is preloaded with highly-detailed sample programs capable of driving and simulating each of the five robots included in that set. You can see a glimpse of those projects, in the screen captures included in this page.robotshop.com/blog/en/files/hex-quad-seq-300x234.png
You can download FlowBotics Studio right away by purchasing it at RobotShop.

]Flowbotics Studio code cannot be used to compile native code for ICs. However, it supports all the standard communication protocols a computer can support so you can use it to communicate to various ICs including PIC and Arduino./:m]
]No, FBS uses a graphical programming language that is not converted into C. It can also use Ruby code that you could right yourself./:m]
]RIOS is intended for robotic arms, and SEQ is more general purpose/:m]
]We are not aware the RoboPro programs can be translated automatically into C./:m]

Hello,

Looking to hire two hexapods (and operator(s)) for a British music video, being shot in Los Angeles.
Any leads very much appreciated.
For more information contact me at [email protected]. Shoot is in one week so time is of the essence.
thank you.
Isabel

I have a few questions for you - I hope you answer them with patient^^ :

FlowBotics Studio V2
I can use the " FlowBotics Studio V2" Robotics software on my PIC18F2550 ? or only at arduino uno ?

I can use my PIC18F2550 with SSC-32 servo motor controller ;and FlowBotics Studio V2 too ( to able to programme my robot ) ?

After I made anythi,ng at FlowBotics Studio V2 , FlowBotics Studio V2 shows what kind of the C++ codes are used ,right ?

What is the difference between these two ?
Lynxmotion Serial Arm Control Software RIOS-02 and Lynxmotion SSC-32 Sequencer Software SEQ-01 ?

Fischertechnik ROBO Pro Software , if we draw many circuits there it helps us to programme our microchip too ;and it shows the graph ed design’s C++ version too ?

Please help me to understand these technical questions that I asked you above before I order them from your website. I will be 3rd class this year at mechatronic engineering ( at Sabancı University - Turkey ) so I am about to make my first step on robotics ,so I need some professional help.

I am from Istanbul/Turkey - you make shipments to Turkey too right ? I want to provide ;and buy all kind of materials I need that from your website. Most of time, I cannot find the materials at Turkey unfortunately :frowning:

I will look forward to your respond me to me,thanks.
