Lynxmotion Robotic Arms

Hello,
We are a PLTW school teaching Computer Integrated Manufacturing using Lynxmotion Robotic Arms. Our robot has been having an issue where instead of smooth motions, it twitches and is not very responsive. We cannot get the robot to effectively complete any motions, but instead twitches in weird directions and is very limp. We have checked over the wiring multiple times, and we are positive it is correct. We have all of the programs running correctly, and the baud rate set correctly. Do you have any suggestions to get our robot running correctly?

It sounds like you are having some power issues with your robotic arm.

We’ve checked your account and you do have the older power supply product. Since then, we’ve replaced this power supply with a newer model (RB-Hap-01) due to quality issues with the older one (RB-Fdi-05). The new model is of better quality and more powerful and therefore usually solves these issues easily.
