Hello all Phoenix builders. We are very close to finishing the Phoenix complete tutorial with Atom Pro / PS2 code. However there is a small glitch that we are not sure how to fix. The program is working perfectly for everything except for turning. It’s not turning in place, but turning as if it were turning around an abject in front of the bot. I wouldnt call this a glitch. Just glacing at the movie it seems that the gate movements are just off a little bit.
Its hard for me to follow someone else code. But I think that its working properly to your code. Its not trying to go in circles but more like turning. I think it might have something to do with the way it figures out its inverse equation in place. It might be a simple equation problem. Or it might be easier to thru in a simple gate for spinning.
Ah ha! James and Xan have solved the riddle. A little piece of code was altered early on, and subsequently forgotten. It’s been repaired and it’s turning as it should! Thanks Xan! Dancing around the office doing the “robot” lol yeah right…
