Hi,
Here are some details concerning you various options:
This free software allows you to test basic movement of the servo motors. It is meant to be user with the SSC-32 / SSC-32U servo controller board and will not work with the BotBoarduino.
This legacy software is meant for advanced control of the AL5 robotic arm series when used with an SSC-32 / SSC-32U servo controller board. It also will not work with a BotBoarduino.
This software is our older (but still very useful) diagnostic / utility software for the AL5 robotic arm series. Again, it can be used only with the SSC-32 / SSC-32U servo controller board.
With the BotBoarduino, you will have to use the Arduino IDE software (we recommend you always use the most up-to-date version). To program the BotBoarduino with the Arduino IDE, please select the Duemilanove under Board in the Tools menu. Also make sure to choose the ATmega328 under Processor.
Also, we recently updated our GitHub to include new examples for the Lynxmotion AL5 BotBoarduino kits. You can find the new code examples here. If you wish to download the examples as zip file, you can do so here.
Sincerely,
