I would like to use a sensor with lynx5 arm, but i don’t know if
Sharp GP2D12 IR Sensor is a good choice?
if yes, how i can connect it?
can i use it with the same power supply!!!
should i buy any thing else to let it work with the kit!!!
Please help me as soon as possible,because i have to order it online(i don’t have a distributer in my state) and this need at least a week to come >>>>>>>

I think the question is will the sensor work with the controller, as in with the SSC-32 controller. Seems this sensor will plug right into the SSC32 and work with the RIOS software. Um, as this is a late reply pls let me know how you made out as I plan to order this sensor as well.
Sorry for the late reply. I missed the original post. The GP2D12 can be connected directly to the SSC-32. Unfortunately you need to remove the femail pins on the cable (not the sensor end) and put heat shrink over them. Then the black one goes to (-), the red one to (+) and the yellow one to the A input. Then the sensor can be used as an input for conditional commands within RIOS.
