Heya I’m a proud(yet clueless) owner of a Lynx 6 robot arm.
I’ve assembled the arm and read the manual but whenever i try to press the “arm” button in RIOS it tells me to enable the shoulder, elbow and wrist servos in the SSC-32 config. The problem is that i’ve enabled them like the manual says, also my arm goes limb when i press the All=1.5ms.
I’m using a 9v battery for power.
edit: also: is there any firmware update? i’m using SSC32-V2.01XE, can’t find any update on it.
When you say “I’m using a 9v battery for power.”, do you mean only a 9v battery to power the arm? If you are just using that, it is a recipe for disaster. A 9v battery cannot support even one servo, much less an entire arm. Use the included (if you got the combo kit) wall pack to power your servos, and the 9v battery to power your board.
Yeah i’m only using a battery, got no wallpack in my order
Gonna see if i can buy one here in sweden.
So that’s why my arm’s been acting very very wierd
Thanks for the clarification, and thanks for an awesome robotic arm.
