I’m having the same issue and would love to know what their fix is for you. I bought this less than 6 months ago and hate that it’s already malfunctioning.

Is the yellow light blinking slowly (once per second) or quickly (twice) per second?
Also, please provide us your order ID and a serial number of the robot.

Jennifer from Litter-Robot support sent pictures and I realized it was user error on my end while putting it back together. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. The pictures are much easier to follow than all of the written instructions.
